Jesse Fuller (1896-1976) was a virtual one-man blues and folk band, playing 12-string guitar, harmonica, kazoo, hi-hat cymbal, and his self-designed “footdella,” a foot operated bass-stringed instrument. Frisco Bound is a collection of some of his earliest recordings from the 1950s and features gospel hymns and original songs including his folk classic “San Francisco Bay Blues.”
